Because I had a miscarriage, my doctor wanted to see me earlier in my pregnancy and is having me come back every two weeks for the rest of my first trimester. I have no problem with that because each time I'll get an internal ultrasound and get to see our baby and hear its heartbeat.
So here's our healthy little baby (don't be deceived, that round circle is not its head, that's the yolk sack). The second picture shows the heartbeat waves at the bottom. I love that because last time we didn't get to hear our baby's heartbeat.

Even though I'm only 7 1/2 weeks along, I'm not worried that this pregnancy will end in a miscarriage. I only say this because this time around I am definitely experiencing the morning sickness, which is a good sign. I didn't get much of that last time. And mornings are the worst for me, but it still seems to hit me anytime of day. I am grateful that it's mostly been nausea and very little puking :)

Jeanine! I love you so much and you are always close to my mind and heart, so this news makes me so happy! So glad you get to go to your doctor often and see your little baby grow! Let me know anytime if you need anything.

I forget sick in there. "glad you are feeling sick"
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! I am so happy for you, this is a very exciting time, even though you are sick:) Everyone told me at 15 weeks the morning sickness would disappear and it did, just over night it was gone, I hope you only have to feel it for a short while. But you are right it is a good sign for now! love you, hi to Matt.
