At his six month checkup he weighed in at 14 lbs (5th percentile)and 26 inches (50th percentile). I must say it is nice having a baby in the low, but healthy, weight range -- he doesn't grow out of his clothing very quickly and I can carry him around without breaking a sweat :) At his checkup, we also discovered his first tooth was about to cut through. Now it is completely through and Jude took the whole teething process like a champ. Man this kid spoils us!!
A couple weeks ago we started introducing fruits and veggies, beginning with carrots. Matt had the video camera ready to catch what we thought would be a negative reaction from Jude. But he seemed to like them and didn't spit them out...honestly I was a little disappointed. I wanted a funny face :) So far Jude has only shown a dislike for bananas and even then he didn't spit them out. He gave a funny look, gagged a little, and wouldn't open his mouth for any more spoonfuls. I think his favorite foods are sweet potatoes, pears, and cereal. He gets really excited whenever I feed them to him.
Mom, I'm naked!
I'm the most handsome six month old around, and I know it!
I'm almost positive I can get this whole thing in my mouth.
Getting ready to enjoy a walk with Mom and Dad
I love playing with Daddy! He throws me up in the air and it makes me giggle.
